Launching Pigalle 0.2-dev on iezzi.ch
Pigalle is a simple picture gallery (say: Pi-Galle) script based on PPHLib libraries. I was writing on that script together with Ari Muljana during our multimedia seminar work in WS2002/03. It supports various graphic libraries (ImageMagick, GD-lib, NetPBM) and uses the same database abstraction layer which the upcoming PPhlogger3 is going to use.
Finally it got time to run Pigalle on iezzi.ch as a replacement for Wihphoto. During the last couple of days there have been a whole bunch of hacking attempts on my server due to a vulnerability in Wihphoto’s code.
Pigalle has not yet been released. It’s still in development and will be ready by the end of 2003.
